Full Color Custom Decals - Ceramic or Glass Decal - Lg Print Area 11" x 17" - You send us your image - Ceramic Decal

These ready made decals to add pictures to your fused glass, ceramics, enamel and other craft projects.
SHEET SIZE: 12" x 18"
PRINTABLE AREA: 11" x 17"
Decals are full color (or just black).
Cut decal, soak in water, apply to piece. Squeegee all of the water out and allow to 12-24 hours to dry.
Fire to permanently fuse design onto surface. Image will not scratch off or fade when applied and fired correctly.
Firing Temperature:
Ceramics - 1450 - 1570 F Cone 016--015
Glass - 1050 - 1200 F Cone 019-021
Some Computer Skills:
Use Adobe Photoshop or comparable software to create: Canvas Size = 11" x 17" (This is the printable area).
Background = Transparent.
Resolution = 300dpi (Maximum) (You can send lower resolution, but dont send any higher)
Mode = RGB (We will convert your file to our special ceramic CMYK profile)
File Format = TIFF or PSD or JPEG
Create or import your images (photos, drawings, text, etc) into the canvas. Lay out your decal sheet. Fill it to the edges if you want. Full color or duotone, it doesn't matter. Put it all in there.
We use a CMYK printing process, which means we can't print the color white. The color of the ceramic surface usually provides the white (think of it like printing color photos on a white piece of paper). Certainly our decals can be used on non-white ceramic surfaces, but the results will be less predictable.
Warning: Low-Resolution Images Don't Print Well !!
Many images, particularly 72dpi jpegs taken off the internet, look jagged and blurry when printed. For best results, we recommend that your images be at least of 200dpi (dots per inch) but no more than 400dpi. But don't go overboard because high-resolution images take up a ton of hard drive space and waste time printing and editing.Then fire (see temperatures above).
